God's Word for Africa equips pastors, leaders, and students in Africa who have a demonstrated need but limited means, with Africa Study Bibles and other biblical resources. We do this through through the best multi-national distribution network in Africa!
Equipping pastors, leaders, and students with Bibles
Over 100 local and global ministry partners are using the Africa Study Bible to address the need for affordable and durable biblical resources, and the requests are multiplying.
Organizations like World Vision and Compassion International, to name a few, have partnered with us to raise funds for affordable and contextualised resources used to grow the faith of leaders, pastors, and schoolchildren across Africa.
Become a Sower of God’s Word
You can help thousands of leaders and pastors spread the gospel month after month!
With just a $67 monthly donation, you can help provide pastors and leaders in Africa with contextualized and relevant discipleship tools such as the Africa Study Bible, New Living Translation Text Bibles (Africa Edition), and other resources, often with training on how to use these unique tools.
Place Bibles in the hands of children
Oasis’s partners like Scripture Union, Association of Christian Schools International, and AWANA are working on the ground to provide school children with their own Bible. You can place a Bible in a child’s hands to shape their faith and impact the rest of their life.
You can help provide an easily understandable, Africa edition Bible – an investment in the life of a child and the future of the church in Africa, where the church is growing faster than anywhere else in the world.
Know of an organization who could use the Africa Study Bible but do not see them on our list?
Today over 1 in 4 Christians live in Africa. By 2060, 40% of the world’s Christians will be African. Africa is now the center of global Christianity, shining the light of Christ.
15 million Bibles
and Bible portions are distributed in Africa every year.
With a shelf life of 5 to 10 years,
this distribution results in less than 150 million Africans with Bibles today.
This leaves as many as 550 million
Christians without a Bible.
To ensure that Africa’s witness will be deeply rooted in the truth of God’s Word we need to see to it that as the number of Christians grows, the number of Bibles also grows.
