Equip New Converts in the War-Torn Region of Cameroon

Why?

The ongoing conflict between the Cameroon Armed Forces and armed separatist groups, also known as the Anglophone Crisis or Ambazonia War, has resulted in devastating consequences for the South West Region of Cameroon. The attacks on civilians have led to displacement and destruction of homes, leaving people in constant fear for their lives. Amidst this conflict, Christian leaders, including pastors, are facing the impossible task of managing their scattered community while living away from their homes.

How?

This is where Life and Life Missions, based in Cameroon, has partnered with Oasis to provide support to the Christians living in this region. They aim to uplift their faith, offer discipleship and evangelistic outreaches, and provide them with the necessary resources to face their challenging task.

One of the best resources for this broken situation is the New Living Translation Text Bible Regular (Africa Edition), which contains messages of peace and restoration. Light and Life Mission will hold discipleship training events in the war-torn region, provide counselling for trauma, and equip the Christian leaders with the necessary resources, including 300 copies of the Bibles for discipleship and evangelism.

Funding Needs

To make this mission possible, the project requires $1,950 in funding. Your generosity can help bring the message of the peace and hope of Jesus to the communities living in this time of turmoil.

In order to meet the greatest need possible, your gift will first be used for this opportunity. However, if this goal is already met, your gift will go to support the entire mission of the God's Word for Africa program.

With your help we can continue to satisfy Africa’s thirst for God’s Word.
