Equipping 300 Church Leaders in Zimbabwe

Meet the leaders

Wordspread Foundation programme equips pastors and church leaders with Bibles, practical discipleship materials, and training to guide their congregations through sustained study of God's Word.

Building on last year's impact. We are strengthening more churches through God's Word.

In 2026, the programme's growth in Zimbabwe exceeded expectations. By October, 300 churches were participating, 360 key church leaders had been trained, and approximately 12,000 congregation members had been reached or involved in discipleship.

With more than 1,000 additional churches requesting participation, the need for accessible biblical resources continues to grow.

How?

Building on this progress, we aim to provide 300 Africa Study Bibles (ASBs) for inclusion in Church Growth Kits distributed through the What Next? pastor-training programme.

The Africa Study Bible offers insights rooted in the African context, helping pastors and church leaders deepen their understanding of Scripture and apply its teachings to their communities.

By equipping local leaders with these resources, we can support their ongoing work of teaching God's Word and discipling others.

Funding Needs

$4,000 is needed to provide 300 Africa Study Bibles to church leaders in Zimbabwe.

Your generosity will help put these valuable resources into the hands of pastors, strengthening their ministry and supporting the growth of biblical discipleship within their congregations.

Together, we can equip church leaders, strengthen congregations, and help more people grow in God's Word.

In order to meet the greatest need possible, your gift will first be used for this opportunity. However, if this goal is already met, your gift will go to support the entire mission of the God's Word for Africa program.
