Equip students with Bibles in northern Nigeria

Why?

Light Walk and Work Mission is a strategic ministry due to its size, experience, and location. It has been a beacon of hope in northern Nigeria for some years, focusing on primary, secondary, and post-secondary school children and youth. Light Walk ministers to pupils and students in several schools across northern Nigeria and reaches thousands of pupils and students. Students in Northern Nigeria often face persecution because of their faith in a Muslim-dominated environment. The ministry's main objective is to encourage personal Bible study and prayers. Boot camps allow group Bible study and prayers and organize student conferences. Light Walk's community is experiencing severe economic challenges and has low purchasing power.

How?

Light Walk reaches schools in rural and religiously challenging areas, and the children cannot afford to buy a copy of the Bible for themselves. They attend school fellowship meetings without a copy of the Bible because they do not have one personally or in their families. Hence, Light Walk has partnered with Oasis to provide 2,000 New Living Translation Text Bibles Africa Edition for these students in several schools.

Funding Needs

The goal of providing Bibles to students in need is an urgent mission that deserves support. With a co-payment of $2,000 already pledged, let's come together to raise the remaining $8,000 and help Light Walk make a lasting impact on these students' lives.

In order to meet the greatest need possible, your gift will first be used for this opportunity. However, if this goal is already met, your gift will go to support the entire mission of the God's Word for Africa program.

With your help we can continue to satisfy Africa’s thirst for God’s Word.
