Equip students with Bibles in northern Nigeria
Why?
Light Walk and Work Mission is a strategic ministry renowned for its size, experience, and location. For several years, it has served as a beacon of hope in northern Nigeria, focusing on primary, secondary, and post-secondary school children and youth. Light Walk reaches thousands of pupils and students across various schools in northern Nigeria. In a predominantly Muslim environment, students often face persecution due to their faith. The main objective of the ministry is to encourage personal Bible study and prayer. It organizes boot camps for group Bible studies and student conferences. However, the community served by Light Walk is experiencing significant economic challenges and has a low purchasing power.
How?
Light Walk targets schools in rural and religiously challenging areas where children cannot afford their own copies of the Bible. Many students attend school fellowship meetings without a Bible, as neither they nor their families own one. To address this need, Light Walk has partnered with Oasis to provide 2,000 New Living Translation Text Bibles: Africa Edition for these students in multiple schools.
Funding Needs
The mission to provide Bibles to students in need is both urgent and deserving of support. A co-payment of $2,000 has already been pledged, and we invite everyone to join together to raise the remaining $8,000. Your contributions will help Light Walk make a lasting impact on the lives of these students.
In order to meet the greatest need possible, your gift will first be used for this opportunity. However, if this goal is already met, your gift will go to support the entire mission of the God's Word for Africa program.
