Equip Missionaries in Hostile Nigerian Regions
Light Walk and Work Mission International (LightWK) is engaging in some of the most difficult and dangerous work possible for Christians. They are spreading the gospel in areas hostile to the church and Christianity. But the Nigerian-based discipleship-evangelism ministry’s mission is to “Go, Promote, and Train”—nothing more or less than the Great Commission.
LightWK runs multiple ministry projects in conflict zones—including Ignite, which teaches pre-teens and teenagers about the Bible; Light Center, a rehabilitation ministry for recovering drug addicts; and Light Up, a “jungle outreach” ministry which involves visiting regions dominated by drug lords, cultists, and rebels.
In these stricken areas, the message of the gospel is changing lives in amazing ways. Young men and women (including converted Muslims) are responding to Christ. After they learn about Jesus from LightWK mentors, the new Christians are trained, discipled, and finally equipped to go out and transform their communities.
Because of you...
LightWK provided their trainee missionaries with 100 Africa Study Bibles, which will give them a powerful resource for their continued spiritual growth and development.
By partnering with supporters like you, these courageous young missionaries are now equipped to minister to oppressed people living in conflict zones.
This project is fully funded. To find out how you can partner with Oasis to support more Christians, click here.

How?
LightWK is seeking to provide their trainee missionaries with Africa Study Bibles, which will give them a powerful resource for their continued spiritual growth and development. To fully equip the young leaders for hostile northern Nigerian mission fields, 100 copies are needed.
By partnering with those around the world who are able to make gifts, these courageous young missionaries are equipped to minister to oppressed people living in conflict zones.
Funding Needs
The total project is $2,200 (or $22 per Africa Study Bible). LightWK is contributing $500, leaving $1,700 still needed to completely fund the project.
In order to meet the greatest need possible, your gift will first be used for this opportunity. However, if this goal is already met, your gift will go to support the entire mission of the God's Word for Africa program.
