Bibles for vulnerable children in Zambia
Why?
The Zambia Project works with vulnerable and orphan children living in the rural outskirts of Mongu, Western Province of Zambia. The high prevalence of poverty, the relentless grip of HIV/AIDS, and high incidence of child abuse have left countless young souls orphaned and vulnerable. All of these factors cause a threat to their education and future. The Zambia Project aims to provide holistic care for these children not only meeting their physical needs but also their spiritual, mental, and emotional needs.
How?
These Children are resilient and determined to make a future for themselves. The Zambia Project comes alongside them with what they need to become contributing members of society. Owning a personal Bible will be a significant resource for these children as they grow in all areas of their lives including growing their faith in Jesus.
Funding Needs
$3,250 is needed to complete the funding of this project which aims to provide 650 New Living Translation: Africa Edition Bibles into the hands of these vulnerable children.
In order to meet the greatest need possible, your gift will first be used for this opportunity. However, if this goal is already met, your gift will go to support the entire mission of the God's Word for Africa program.
