Bibles for Discipleship Classes in Rural Nigeria

When a person gives their life to Christ, what comes next? They need to grow in their relationship with God, but how?

Living Hope Ministries International knows that new converts need opportunities to study the Bible—particularly when they don’t have their own copies of Scripture. That’s why the ministry always provides Bible classes for new converts alongside their evangelistic crusades.

Today, Living Hope Ministries is holding these regular Bible classes for new Christians within the rural communities at Ilepa, Ifo, Ogun State, Nigeria. The members of these communities are students and adults who earn only enough to provide for their basic needs. Unfortunately, they cannot afford their own Bibles.

These young Christians have a heart for sharing the Word of God with others, so Living Hope Ministries is eager to give them copies of God’s Word. Armed with their own Bibles, these new Christians will be equipped to grow spiritually and empowered to expand the Kingdom of God in their communities.

Living Hope Ministries has decided to partner with Oasis to provide these Bibles. The goal is to deliver 20 copies of the Africa Study Bible for their Bible Class Teachers and 80 copies of the New Living Translation: Africa Edition Text Bible for the new converts.

Funding Needs

Living Hope Ministries International has pledged to contribute $92 towards the Bibles. To completely fund these 20 Africa Study Bibles and 80 New Living Translation: Africa Edition Text Bibles, $828 is still needed.

In order to meet the greatest need possible, your gift will first be used for this opportunity. However, if this goal is already met, your gift will go to support the entire mission of the God's Word for Africa program.

With your help we can continue to satisfy Africa’s thirst for God’s Word.
