Love on a Deaf Congregation

Why?

Pastor Charles Odira is the Head Pastor at Harvest Mission Deaf Church, which serves a congregation of 200 unemployed members living in urban slums around Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya.

How?

Pastors and church leaders in this community need Bibles. Pastor Charles will train and equip his pastors and leaders on how to disciple this community and share the love of God and the good news of Jesus Christ. Following the training, Bibles will be distributed to the pastors and leaders to help them become more effective in discipling their congregations.

Funding Needs

$4,000 will help 200 Deaf Pastors and church Leaders receive the much-needed Bibles for teaching and growing their faith and the faith of their communities.

In order to meet the greatest need possible, your gift will first be used for this opportunity. However, if this goal is already met, your gift will go to support the entire mission of the God's Word for Africa program.
